Sound blending
Say the sounds slowly, then faster and faster until they become a word:
cโฆ aโฆ tโฆ โ cat! ๐ฑ
Your first words
- ๐ฑ c-a-t = cat
- ๐ถ d-o-g = dog
- โ๏ธ s-u-n = sun
- โฝ b-a-l-l = ball
Picture first, word second
Look at the picture, say the word, then check the letters. That order makes reading feel natural.
