🔍 Possible reasons

Possible reasons: counting is still slow; number bonds to 10 are not automatic; the symbols feel abstract.

🧭 What parents can try

Return to real objects: count, combine, and count again. Make ten first (8 + 7 = 8 + 2 + 5).

🏡 Simple activity

Plate maths: combine snacks on two plates and count them all. Then write the sum together.

📚 Recommended EduManual lessons

🤝 When to seek additional support: Every learner masters facts at their own pace. If the gap with classmates is large, coordinate with the teacher.
