➖ Subtraction

🔍 Possible reasons

Possible reasons: taking away is harder than adding; the link between addition and subtraction may be missing.

🧭 What parents can try

Use objects: take some away and count what is left. Show that subtraction is the reverse of addition (7 - 3 = 4 because 4 + 3 = 7).

🏡 Simple activity

The disappearing snacks: start with 10 raisins, eat some, count what remains — write it as a sum.

📚 Recommended EduManual lessons

🤝 When to seek additional support: Concrete practice resolves most subtraction wobbles. The teacher can advise if it persists.
